September 17, 2021 – A Celebration of Tradition, Series 1

Our zoom program will feature our teacher advisor for the Ohara School, Mrs. Kayoko Fujimoto.

Kayoko Suiyo Fujimoto is a Grandmaster of the Ohara School. She has led a large and devoted group of Ohara teachers and students for six decades. Included in a long history of accomplishments and honors are the Order of the Rising Sun, Golden and Silver Rays, from the government of Japan. In 2008 she was inducted into the Bunka Hall of Fame in recognition of her lifelong contributions to Ikebana and Japanese cultural arts. Her program is titled: A Celebration of Tradition: Teacher Advisor, Color of Autumn.
