IKEBANA FASHIONS
Katsuko Biko Thielke, Sogetsu School

Widely known for her inventive ikebana using both natural and manmade materials in demonstration programs and exhibitions, Katsuko Thielke presented her new ikebana, assisted by many of her students. In great demand for her work, Ms. Thielke is an active member of both the San Francisco Bay Area Sogetsu Branch and the Sogetsu San Jose South Bay Branch. Her arrangements appear regularly in dozens of offices, banks, restaurants, churches and private homes throughout the area. She also is a noted arranger of Sogetsu at the annual "Bouquets to Art" exhibition in the Palace of Legion of Honor in San Francisco.
