Kosho Dixon, Riji of the Sogetsu School, transformed exotic and rare materials from the recently reopened San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers to create unusual ikebana. Known for her innovative use of materials, she is a leader in the Bay Area's Sogetsu community. Ms. Dixon teaches privately in her Oakland studio and in Fremont and has taught ikebana at the University of California, Davis. She has presented many exhibitions and has been a featured demonstrator in local shows and in New Mexico. |
