The last program of the season presented Mmes. Fusako Hoyrup and Sumi Metz, the president and vice president of the California Chapter of Wafukai. Following the principles of Wafukai, they created early summer arrangements focused on enhancing the appreciation and enjoyment of nature through Ikebana. Mme. Hoyrup has been affiliated with Wafukai for more than three decades and holds the school's highest degree. Mme. Metz has studied Wafukai Ikebana for 27 years. Both artists teach Wafukai Ikebana in the Bay Area. |
