Although the chapter is on "summer vacation," officers continued to represent Ikebana International at various events. In June, Gail Correia, Exhibition Chair, (shown here) accompanied by Agnes van Boeschoten, President, presented an educational exhibition about Ikebana at the "Tribute to Japan" at the Kendall-Jackson California Coast Wine Center near Santa Rosa. The event was sponsored by the International Diplomacy Council in honor of The Honorable Hitoshi Tanaka, Consul General of Japan and Mrs. Rieko Tanaka. Gail and Agnes prepared several arrangements, displayed Ikebana equipment and material, and answered questions from the audience.
