THE GOLDEN 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Ikebana International

Members, friends, and honored guests will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the chapter with an exhibition, luncheon, and fashion show at the Nikko Hotel in San Francisco. For 50 years the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter has presented programs and exhibitions of exceptional ikebana for residents and visitors to the city.

The Anniversary celebration is chaired by Joan Finnie, assisted by Leslie Kodama and Pearl Kimura, co-chairs. The eight schools of ikebana represented in the chapter will each install arrangements for public exhibit.

Exhibition Ikebana arrangements will be on view by the Aratame, Chiko, Enshu, Ikenobo, Koryu, Ohara, Sogetsu & Wafu schools of ikebana.
   
Program A fashion show staged by The Sachiko Collection will feature Japanese fabrics. Ensembles will be modeled by members of the chapter. A "Pot of Gold" raffle will be conducted.
   
Luncheon Fee $35.00

Admission is by pre-paid reservation only. No tickets will be sold at the door. Reservation deadline is December 15, 2009.
