FRIENDSHIPS THROUGH IKEBANA

Rayko Ichirei Kurosaki, Enshu School
Tova Seiko Matatyaou, Wafu School
Sonali Vagholikar, Ohara School

Three gifted artists from three different schools of ikebana happily prove that "Friendship Through Flowers" thrives. The beauty of diversity was presented in this program.

Rayko Ichirei Kurosaki was born in Japan but came to San Francisco with her family at age eight. She attended City College of San Francisco and San Francisco State College and has worked as an administrative assistant for various firms. Rayko has been a student of Enshu Ikebana for over 20 years, studying with Mrs. Sakae Sakaki. She earned her teaching certificate and received her ikebana name "Ichirei". In 2005 she gave her first demonstration for Ikebana International and appears for the second time this month. She has assisted her teacher in many demonstrations and exhibitions.
