The noble school of Ikenobo transformed the stage in February when Ikenobo artists Susumu Saiki and Shuji Ikeda presented an elegant, early springtime program. Both men are accomplished artists with advanced degrees and Mr. Ikeda is also an award-winning potter. Mr. Saiki always matches his arranging skill with sly and humorous commentary, much to his audience's delight. Mr. Ikeda is known for his extraordinary ikebana flair and for his beautiful and unique containers.
