Dedicating a memorial tree with an interpretive plaque on December 3, 1997 are, left to right, Honey Atwater (widow of Kent Atwater), Willard Clark (nephew of Elizabeth Tippett), and Kuwako Takahashi (widow of Yasundo Takahashi). The tree is in the Moon Viewing Pavillion of Strybing Arboretum in Golden Gate Park. The memorial honors three dedicated supporters of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of Ikebana International who recently passed away.
