The 24th Ikebana Flower Show Presented by
Ikebana International, San Francisco Bay Area Chapter

Ikebana 2003 displayed floral creations by the Bay Area's best artists of Japanese floral design. The exhibition included dozens of contemporary, avant-garde works in sculptural settings and traditional, conventional ikebana designs, large and small, shown both indoors and out. Artists from six different schools of ikebana exhibited arrangements and sculpture and four Bay Area ikebana teachers gave demonstration programs.

 
When: Saturday and Sunday, April 5 & 6, 2003.
Exhibition hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.
Demonstrations both days at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
   
Where: San Francisco County Fair Building, Golden Gate Park,
Corner of 9th Avenue & Lincoln Way, San Francisco.
   
Parking: Limited free, reserved parking in Golden Gate Park on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive parallel to Lincoln Way between 9th & 7th Avenue.
