Ikebana 2003 displayed floral creations by the Bay Area's best artists of Japanese floral design. The exhibition included dozens of contemporary, avant-garde works in sculptural settings and traditional, conventional ikebana designs, large and small, shown both indoors and out. Artists from six different schools of ikebana exhibited arrangements and sculpture and four Bay Area ikebana teachers gave demonstration programs. |
