Headmaster Akihiro Kasuya, on tour from Japan, graced our stage in April. He is the 3rd Headmaster of this modern school of Ikebana which stresses imaginative creative design. Mr. Kasuya studied at the New York School of Interior Design and made his first appearance in an Ikebana exhibition at the age of seventeen. He leads his school in modern Ikebana, uses a systematic method of teaching and provides a correspondence program for students outside of Japan. |
